Biomes RMS 7 - N. Schwartz

i have three sisters, and something like eighteen cats.
i am in track and was in wrestling over the winter.
i like playing soccer and collecting state quarters.
my favorite colors are black and blue; my favorite food is
dirt pudding; my favorite animal are dogs.

i chose this animal because it reminded me of me in the sense that i notice nearly everything.

taiga plants

most of the plants have needles and are very hardy [tiaga april pulley sayre]
they have needles in order to shed snow easily [tiaga april pulley sayre]
their needles also keep them warm during the winter [tiaga april pulley sayre]
they also lose less water [Tiaga by april pulley sayre]

taiga animals

some animals such as the snowshoe hare change colors from winter to summer blueplanetbiomes.org/taiga.htm
some animals such as the lynx can walk on top of snow [snow dog by jim kjelkard]
alot of animals either hibernate or migrate [tiaga april pulley sayre]
smaller animals often make tunnels underneath the snow [tiaga april pulley sayre]

the climate of the tiaga is harsh and forbidding blueplanetbiomes.org/taiga.htm
the temp during the winter range from -64-30 degrees farenhieght blueplanetbiomes.org/taiga.htm
for half the year the temp averages below zero blueplanetbiomes.org/taiga.htm
of that there is most of it is rainy and warm blueplanetbiomes.org/taiga.htm
